REQUIRED READING: PLEASE CHECK FOR THE PROPER PHASE! 8TH SUMMER READING 2009 YES, PRINCESS BRIDE IS THE "GOOD PARTS" EDITION, NOT THE ORIGINAL 1000 PAGE EDITION! HERE IS THE TEACHER'S NOTE ABOUT WHAT TO READ IN PRINCESS BRIDE: You do not need to read the "Introduction to the 25th Anniversary Edition by William Goldman" but that's the only real introduction I have in my book. The frame story starts before chapter one; there's a big page that says "The Princess Bride" and then it starts with page 1. The frame story's important because the narrator interrupts the story on a pretty continuous basis, and if you don't read the frame, you won't understand what's going on. You do not need to read "Buttercup's Baby."
