| I LOVE the
Campbell Text, it
will be a wonderful learning tool for you. I especially like the short
vignette that begins each chapter. The authors are presenting you with
a timely and relevant story and asking you an excellent question as a way of
introducing the topic and its importance. Please take the time to read
this excellent chapter appetizers!! I like the way things are described and
the organization of the text. We will cover the material in a sequential
order as we work through the text together. I anticipate being able to
cover the book cover to cover. We will hit the ground running, looking
forward to it. |
| Is it better to read ahead and be
ready to ask questions in class or go to class and read the text as a
follow-up to the lesson? You need to answer that question for yourself,
you know which is a better way for you to learn. Having said that, I
think many students have found reading after the material is covered in
class works well for material that is new to them. Just know, you must read the text
at some point and this book, I am happy to say, is very well written in
terms of brevity, clarity, and interest. |
